Don't you feel that Toastmaster-ing requires much time and effort? I think so too. In fact, I've been to so many toastmasters clubs that I feel obliged to come up with a mini list of Toastmasters clubs that I personally feel deserves the "Best Club Award".

As for clubs that didn't manage to make it to the coveted list, ah well, I'll just have to pass them the "Worst Club Award". This is a signal to start improving yourself!

To appear un-biased, I decided to leave out my home club - Nee Soon east Toastmasters - because to me, it it simply home (and therefore the best club) =)

Criteria:

1. Personal attention to guests
2. Quality of meetings
3. Professionalism of the Club (includes how the club deals with emergencies)
4. Refreshments
5. The "WOW!" factor

Best Clubs:

1. SingHealth Toastmasters Club (rates extremely high!)
2. Team Young NTUC Toastmasters Club (fabulous treatment to guests)
3. Tampines Changkat Toastmasters (quality speeches every single time)
4. Lifestyles Toastmasters (great personal attention given to guests)
5. GELPA Toastmasters (members give personal attention; great refreshments)
6. Great Eastern Toastmasters (very professional way of handling emergencies)
7. Cheng San Toastmasters (quality speeches and creativity)
8. Fuchun Toastmasters (professional club officers)
9. NUSS Toastmasters (professionalism; quality of refreshments)
10. NUS Toastmasters (great atmosphere; dynamic speeches!)

Worst Clubs:

Come to think about it, I think I'd better not defame them...
who knows they might be employing the best lawyers to sue me...

Final verdict:

Visit all the clubs in the Best Clubs category - you will NOT regret it!
