Hello!

Hello there world!

I'm a Toastmaster - nope, not the toasting bread kind - but a public speaker. I've been in the movement since Year One in Temasek Polytechnic (S'pore). That makes it three, yes three solid years, learning the art of public speaking.

Through my journey as a Toastmaster, I've learnt so much - the makings of an effective speech, vocal variety, body language, inter-personal skills, etc. etc. etc.

But that's not the point. The point that I'm trying to make is that Toastmastering allowed me to pull back the layers of superficiality that shroud the pure nature of humans. I think I've met more people through Toastmasters than i ever had in my entire life.

By coming up with a blog specially dedicated to my Toastmasters journey, I hope to chronicle the challenges that I face as a Toastmaster..and to highlight to cheesy aspects of being a Toastmaster =)
